A book for my mom

I asked my siblings, in-laws, nieces and nephews to help create a book for my mom's 70th birthday. Everyone took pictures of their own profile and submitted a message for their mom or grandma. Each page of the book is my mom's child, son-in-law, or grandchild's silhouette and message. It was a very personal project that was a lot of fun to create for my mom with great results.

  • The question what to get mom for her birthday is always tough since mom always says she doesn't want us to spend money on her. I asked my siblings, in-laws, nieces and nephews to help create a book for my mom's 70th birthday. Everyone took pictures of their own profile and submitted a message for their mom or grandma. To keep the book consistent from everyone's snapshots and cameras, I turned everyone's profile photo into a black silhouette illustration. Each page of the book is my mom's child, son-in-law, or grandchild's silhouette and message. It was a very personal project that was a lot of fun to create for my mom with great results.
